Do you believe there could be existing a parrallel universe in dreams?

It's quite hard to explain but every once in a while I seem to be meeting people I know from this world in dreams. It's quite perturbating because I am in the dream and I know it, I control it and in the morning it's as if I have the choice wheither I should stay in the dream or wake up and live my actual life. I can choose any of those two world but I always end up choosing my reality to my dream because I know I have a family and even if my dreams are wilde, crazier, it's like reminding me everytime my life is still cool. I am maybe scared also, in a certain way than if I choose the dream I might never come back. That door opens only once in a while...

Does anybody else has weird dream experiences like me?
