Apparently people have been hearing this noise all over the world. And apparently UFo sightings this year have gone way up.

Me too! I have been followingthis phenomenon since the 2011 earthquake in VA and NY. Clips are turning up all from over the world. It's crazy. There is even a similar noise that happened at a televised ball game in Florida and the announcers even noted it in their commentary.
We even had a meting topic about this a few months ago where I showed a bunch of videos. WHat the heck is it?
Though there are now some fakes out there which really muddy the waters. Here is the Florida sound:

I don't know what it is but it sure sounds like we're invaded!!! That freaks me out somehow, as if something tried to tell us they are there close and prevent us they will soon take our place if we can't cohabitate... (I've maybe seen too much movies XD)

oh my gosh that Hong Kong video was really creepy T_T. It reminded me of War of the worlds too. And I had only just left Hong Kong when that video was recorded too!
